HUBBARD, Richard Age 88, of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012 in Hamilton. He was born August 26, 1923 in Hamilton the son of John and Ida (Fawcett) Hubbard. He served in the US Army during WWII from 1943 to 1945. He married LaVerne Guethlein on December 10, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was employed as an Insurance Agent by Nationwide Insurance for 27 years retiring in 1988. He was past president of Lindenwald Kiwanis and Hamilton Optimist, coached Say Soccer and Westside Little League and past president of VFW of Addyston. Ohio. He is survived by his children: Vicki Jones, Hamilton; Rodney Hubbard (Mary), Oak Harbor, WA; Andrea Young (Charles), Hamilton; Scott Hubbard (Lori), Hamilton; Renee Biebl (Mike), Mt. Vernon, WA.; Bret Hubbard (Kim), Lake Stevens, WA.: a brother, Everett Hubbard, Cincinnati; two sisters, Florence Adams, Lawrenceberg, IN., Lucretia Crawford, Aurora, IN., fifteen grandchildren; Devyn, Lauren, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Joshua, Sarah, Kelly, Kurt, Matthew, Holly, Carly, Jacob, Mitchell, Evan and Anna. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, Lawrence and Fred and a sister, Marian Eggleston. Funeral service will be Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton. Burial with military service will be at St. Stephens Cemetery.
